Ohio Space Grant Consortium Scholarship - Sinclair Match
Established in February 2012 and funded through the congressionally-sponsored National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program, administered by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage US citizens to pursue advanced education by providing financial support through competitively awarded scholarships to community college students studying in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics-related discipline.
To receive funding, students must first apply through the Ohio Space Grant Consortium to be approved to attend their Annual Student Research Consortium. Applications for those funds are due by October 31st of each year.
To qualify to apply for funding, students must meet the following requirements:
- Enrolled in a degree program related to Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics as a second-year
- US Citizens
- Under-represented students including women, minorities, and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply
- Preference for renewal will be given to students who have a GPA of 3.25 or higher
