Centerville Women's Civic Club Shirley Heintz Memorial Scholarship

To honor former Centerville Women’s Civic Club member, Shirley Heintz, for her commitment to public service, the Centerville Women’s Civic Club will award a special memorial scholarship. The student who is selected annually will be the Shirley Heintz Memorial Centerville Women’s Civic Club Scholar.

To qualify for consideration for this award, students must meet the following requirements:

• Be pursuing a degree at Sinclair Community College
• Be a resident of either Centerville or Washington Township, Ohio
• Have maintained a minimum GPA of 2.5
• Preference for this award will go to students who demonstrate financial need (i.e., students who have tuition, fee, and book charges not already covered by Pell Grant or other scholarships)
• Volunteerism and leadership experience will be strongly considered as criteria for selecting the recipient
