Christina L. Brown and John Joseph Memorial Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship was endowed in February 2018 to provide financial assistance for nursing students who are raising dependent children and have financial need, which is defined as institutional Sinclair charges remaining after Pell Grant or other scholarships have been applied. This scholarship is in keeping with the donors’ love of life, high energy, generosity and appreciation for education and learning.

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must:

• Be enrolled full-time in the Nursing program
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Have dependent children
• Have financial need (Sinclair charges remaining after Pell Grant or other scholarships have been applied)

This scholarship can be used towards tuition, fee, or book (Sinclair Bookstore) charges remaining after other grants/scholarships have applied.
