Scholarships for Social Impact

This scholarship is sponsored by Fig Loans. Everyone at Fig is driven by their passion for creating financially healthy communities. Since decision-making at the local level is becoming an important part of civic life, being a good citizen is more important than ever. Fig is committed to supporting that growth in the communities we serve. The Fig Loans scholarship is one of the many ways we hope to empower the leaders of tomorrow. Who are we looking for? (Eligibility):

• Full-time student enrolled in a two year, four year, or graduate program
• Attending school in Texas, Missouri, Illinois, or Ohio
• All majors are welcome; positive impact on communities comes in all different forms and we celebrate that!
• Permanent residents or U.S. Citizens

What do we need from you? (Application)

• Current transcript
• Resume
• 400 to 800 word essay on the following topic:
  “At Fig, our passion is to create a more inclusive world by expanding access to financial services. How will you create a more inclusive world? Through your studies or work experience, what is the issue you are tackling? How did you become passionate about the issue? How will you use your education to create a long standing solution to this issue?”

Application Deadline is May 1, 2019. Award will be applied to your Fall 2019 Student Account.
