Eugene and Geraldine Reiff Scholarship for Students with Dependent Children

This fund was created to advance education by providing scholarship assistance to students with dependent children who attend or are planning to attend Sinclair Community College. This scholarship may be used for tuition, fees, and books as well as education-related expenses such as childcare, transportation, tools, equipment, uniforms, certification, licensure, and grants for emergency needs that may prevent a student from continuing their studies. Recipients will be required to produce receipts, invoices, or other documentation when receiving funds for non-tuition expenses.

To qualify, students must meet the following requirements:

  • Students must have dependent children
  • Students must have completed at least 30 semester hours at Sinclair
  • Students must be in good academic standing (minimum 2.0 GPA)
  • Students must demonstrate financial need through their essay and application information.

Scholarship awards may be up to $500 per student per term.

NOTE: Funds apply only to charges remaining AFTER Pell Grant/other grants and scholarships have fully applied. Students who are interested in having funds be released towards non-tuition expenses must attach proof of those expenses to this scholarship application.
