Scholarships From The Community Foundation of Shelby County (Ohio)

Welcome! The Community Foundation of Shelby County (Ohio) has an online application. This will allow you to apply with one application to the many scholarships administered by the Community Foundation of Shelby County (Ohio).

You may start the process by completing our matching questionnaire. Each scholarship is tied to a common application. Some scholarships have additional questions at the end to confirm eligibility of the student or if an essay is required.

After completing the matching questionnaire, you will have an opportunity to create a login ID and password. By creating an account you will be able to stop and restart your work on the application(s). When providing an email address, please use one that is checked frequently, such as your family’s main email address. We will send you notices about your application through the email address you provide.

Within the Common application, we have two different scholarship deadlines. Each scholarship deadline is listed within the description under the name of the scholarship. If you apply for scholarships within the first deadline, you do not need to re-apply for the second deadline. Applications will not be accepted for scholarships after the deadline.

Gather the following items to complete your scholarship application:

• Your transcript (high school for current high school seniors or college for current college students)
• 1-3 letters of recommendation
• Your EFC (Expected Family Contribution) number from the FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR). You can access this by filing the 2023-24 FAFSA at https://studentaid.gov/ and then clicking “View My Student Aid Report (SAR)” after logging in.
