David Clevenger Memorial Scholarship

This award is for residents or graduates of an Ohio Correctional Institution who are pursuing a career in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts program. The scholarship was established in September 2007 by a bequest from the estate of David Clevenger. This scholarship can also be used towards supplies, childcare, transportation, and other living expenses.

Students interested in having special costs considered for scholarship funding must attach documentation of the item to be paid for and the cost to their application.

To be eligible, students must meet the following requirements:

  • Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
  • High school graduate or GED recipient
  • Enrolled in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts program
  • Be a graduate of an Ohio Correctional Institution

Award per year: $750 part-time students $1500 full-time students

  3. Are you enrolled in a Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts program? Students must be enrolled in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts to be eligible for this scholarship.
  4. In addition to tuition and fees expenses, this scholarship can be used for education-related expenses such as childcare, transportation, tools, equipment, uniforms, certification and licensure. If you are interested in seeking financial aid for these items you will be required to provide documentation of the expense here.
