SPTA Minority Scholarship Award for Academic Excellence

The Minority Scholarship Award recognizes physical therapy students currently in their final year of an accredited program, and faculty members who are pursuing post professional doctoral degrees for their professional character and academic excellence. These awards are sponsored by the Minority Scholarship Fund and voluntary contributions.

This is an annual award offered to minority physical therapist assistant students by the Physical Therapy Fund. Read the nomination instructions (.pdf), and download the application form (.doc) and reference forms (.doc).

Students must be nominated before they can apply, and applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents in one of the of the following racial or ethnic minority groups: African-American, Asian, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, Native American, or Hispanic/Latino.
