Dental Student Scholarship from Ohio Dental Association

The ODA Foundation is proud to have awarded more than $1.5 million in grants and scholarships since 1995 thanks to the generous support of our donors. Through grants and scholarships, the ODA Foundation helps decrease the cost of dental education for future dentists and increases access to dental care by supporting community oral health programs in Ohio.

The 2023 ODA Foundation Dental Student Scholarship application period is currently open. Scholarships are due June 23, 2023 at midnight.

Dental Student Scholarship

Each year, the ODA Foundation awards multiple dental student scholarships based on financial need, community service and dental school involvement to applicants who meet the following requirements:

• D2, D3, or D4 dental student in Fall 2023.
• Member of ASDA.
• Ohio resident.
  
  

Mercer Leadership Scholarship

Students entering their D4 year during Fall 2023 at OSU are also eligible to apply for the Dr. James F. Mercer Leadership Scholarship. To apply for the Mercer Leadership Scholarship, you must complete the Dental Student Scholarship Application and the optional Mercer Leadership Scholarship essays.

• OSU dental student entering his/herD4 year in Fall 2023.
• Ohio resident for at least five years.
• Members of ASDA.
• Have a commitment to leadership in dental school and the community.
