Mason Scholarship Foundation

Once again the Mason Scholarship Foundation has applications available for senior students that reside in the Mason City School District or attend Mason High School. 2024 is the 40th year of the Mason Scholarship Foundation awarding scholarships to students!

The Mason Scholarship Foundation awards scholarships to graduating seniors attending four-year college programs as well as students attending two-year programs who are seeking an associates degree or technical certification. This year we are giving awards worth $8,000 ($2,000 per year renewable for 4 years) to students who exemplify Kiwanis values of community service who are attending a four-year college. We are also awarding $2,000 ($1,000 renewable for 2 years) for students who will attend community college, associate degree programs, or other trade or technical educational programs.

Eligibility:

• Student must reside in the Mason City School District or attend Mason High School.
• Student must seek to continue education at a community college, junior college, or qualified certificate program at a technical or trade school.
• Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate commitment to community service, strong educational motivation, leadership skills through their activities in school, faith organizations, youth groups, volunteer efforts, and work experience.
