Scholarships Through the IEEE Professional Engineering Organization

IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. IEEE also offers a variety of scholarships, grants, and fellowships for IEEE Student members.

NOTE: In addition to being given the right to complete for scholarships through IEEE, members of IEEE with a 3.4 GPA or greater and who have completed 30 credit hours or more at Sinclair are eligible for the NAECON Scholarship Fund award if they apply via Sinclair’s Online Scholarship Application System at www.sinclair.edu/scholarships by clicking “Apply Online to Scholarships.”

To be eligible for a scholarship (including the NAECON Scholarship Fund), students must join IEEE (cost is $32). Students can view the different types of scholarships that IEEE student members can apply for by clicking the “Visit” button below.

NOTE: Many of the IEEE Scholarships involve projects or poster sessions, letters of recommendation, and essays.
