Beavercreek Women's League Women in Transition (WIT) Scholarship for Non-Traditional Students

Established in 1969, the Beavercreek Women’s League (BWL) is a civic organization that supports families, women, and their communities, which are represented by their three-hearted emblem.

The purpose of the Beavercreek Women’s League is:

· To serve the Beavercreek Community by promoting worthwhile projects
· To provide mental stimulation and development through study
· To encourage a spirit of helpfulness and promote friendship and diversity

Since its beginning, the organization has raised over $100,000 in scholarships for Beavercreek High School students and since 2000, $63,500 for its Women in Transition (WIT) scholarships through its annual Scholarship Luncheon.

The Beavercreek Women’s League awards college scholarships valued at one thousand dollars ($1000) or more to non-traditional female students. 22 years ago, the organization started a scholarship program to benefit Greene County women who are returning to school and have a financial need to complete their education.
