Technology First Scholarship - IT/Computer Systems Students

Technology First is awarding second-year college students in an Information Technology degree program a scholarship. To be eligible, students must meet the following requirements:

• Must have completed at least 30 credit hours
• Must be enrolled in an Information Technology field (approved majors include but are not limited to the following: computer systems, computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, and industrial/computer engineering)
• Must have minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Must have a strong interest in pursuing an IT career in Southwest Ohio
• Must have a graduation date after August 2020
• Must be a permanent resident of or attend a North Central accredited degree-granting college or university within the Southwest Ohio region including Adams, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Greene, Hamilton, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Shelby and Warren counties.
• Financial need, character, and personal work ethic will be important selection criteria

1. A copy of your transcript or official college documentation of your GPA. Documents will be accepted that are printed directly from your on-line college portal.
2. A letter of recommendation from your college/university faculty on college letterhead or a recommendation from a current or former employer.
3. This application with all questions answered.
