Mason-Deerfield Rotary Club Scholarship for High School Seniors

The Mason-Deerfield Rotarty Club Scholarship is for high school seniors from Mason High School, Kings High School, and students enrolled in Mason and Kings school districts who attend Great Oaks Career Centers or the Warren County Career Center. Scholarships are awarded to both seniors who are planning to attend four-year institutions for college and also those planning to attend two-year institutions such as Sinclair Community College. To qualify, you must:

  • Students must be current high school seniors residing in the city of Mason or
    Deerfield Township who are students at Mason High School, Kings High School, or enrolled in the Mason or Kings school districts and attend Great Oaks or Warren County Career Center
  • Students must apply for and be enrolled in an accredited two or four-year college or university/institution of higher education
  • Your application materials must demonstrate academic ability, enthusiasm for high school/vocational school, and demonstrate the Rotary International motto of “Service Above Self”
  • Children of Rotary Club members are not eligible

Students must complete an application as well as write a statement describing their community service, attach an academic transcript from their high school and a letter from the student’s high school guidance counselor (specifications for this letter are described in the attached document). Two letters of recommendation must be included as well.

Completed application packets must be submitted by March. Applications MUST be submitted to students’ high school Guidance Counselor directly. The Guidance Counselor will then submit the application to the Scholarship Committee. To view information and application, click the “Visit” button below.
