Ohio Section American Water Works Association Scholarship

The American Water Works Association has scholarships available for students residing in Ohio who are enrolled in a water industry-related program at an institution of higher education. The scholarship will be for tuition costs in the upcoming 2022-23 school year. They range from $1,000 to $4,000 for the school year.

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Reside in Ohio
• Be attending an accredited institution of higher learning during the upcoming 2022-23 school year
• Be enrolled in a water-related program of study (i.e. Science, Engineering, Management, Computer Information Systems, or other water- related field)
• No student can receive more than two scholarships from this program within a 10-year period
• Current Committee members or their immediate family are not eligible to receive a scholarship

All applications must be submitted by February 11th. To apply, students must complete an online application which includes a description of students’ career goals, as well as a copy of your official college transcript and a letter of recommendation.
