A Place for Mom Senior Care Scholarship

A Place for Mom, North America’s largest senior living referral service, is proud to offer $1,000 scholarships each quarter to university students interested in the fields of aging and gerontology. To qualify for the scholarship, students must meet the following requirements:
*Students must be citizens or Permanent Residents of the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec)
*Applicants must be planning on a career working with senior citizens in order to be eligible for this scholarship.
*Students must be enrolled in an associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree or graduate level program in a medical, nursing or social sciences related major.
*Employees of A Place for Mom and members of their immediate family/household are not eligible.

The application for this scholarship requires a letter of introduction describing your history of working or volunteering with seniors, a signed copy of the Scholarship Award Agreement found on the webpage, a completed Student Information form found on the webpage, and a 2-3 minute video on the theme, “The Value of Seniors in Our Lives and Benefits to Society.”
