Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF)

MALDEF has a list of scholarships from various foundations and nonprofit organizations divided up by the month that applications are due. The list has scholarships with applications that are due from now until the end of June 2021.

All scholarships are for the 2021-22 school year. Although the website is sponsored by a Latino organization, scholarships are NOT limited to Latino students. Many of the listed scholarships are for either Latino students or students of diverse racial/ethnic backgrounds. There are also scholarships specifically for DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) students.

Each scholarship application is to be submitted to the organization sponsoring the award (not to Sinclair’s Financial Aid & Scholarships Office). To view more information, click the “View” button below.
