VFW Post 2800 Education Scholarship

Established in July 1999 by the VFW Post 2800 to assist students currently pursuing a degree in Child & Family Education.

To be eligible for this scholarship, students must meet the following:

• Minimum 2.75 GPA
• Enrolled in Liberal Arts and Sciences courses or courses closely related to the core curriculum
• Elected middle-school or secondary teaching as an emphasis
• Completed 9 semester hours of college-level study in Liberal Arts, Communication, & Social Sciences or courses closely related to the core curriculum
• U.S. citizen

This scholarship only pays out towards tuition, required book, or fee charges remaining AFTER Pell Grant/other grants have fully paid out.
