John and Graham McConnell Scholarship for Immigrants, Refugees or Asylees
Established in May 1996 by an anonymous donor to honor the memory of John and Graham McConnell by providing assistance to foreign nationals who are obligated to pay the highest tuition rate, and/or who do not qualify for state or federal Financial Aid & Scholarship Committee.
To qualify, students must meet the following requirements:
- Student must have entered the U.S. as an immigrant, refugee, or asylee
- Successfully completed at least 6 semester hours of any level of coursework
- Preference will be given to students who are working and are not Pell Grant-eligible
- Award
