James W. Tyler Scholarship for Single Fathers

Established in September 1997 by the family of James W. Tyler to honor his memory, and to encourage men parenting children alone while seeking a degree.

Criteria:

  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Enrolled in a degree program
  • Completed at least 10 semester hours of college-level coursework
  • Single parent
  • Male
