Dr. Charles Williams and Sonya Kirkwood-Williams Scholarship Fund

This scholarship was endowed through the Sinclair Foundation in May 2017 to provide financial assistance to students at Sinclair Community College. Scholarships may be used for tuition, fees, or books. They can also be approved for non-tuition expenses such as childcare, transportation, tools, equipment, uniforms and licensure exams. Students will be asked to upload proof of any non-tuition expenses so that they may be considered.

To qualify for a scholarship, students must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum 2.25 cumulative GPA
• Must have completed 6 credit hours at Sinclair by the time of their award
• Must have financial need (expenses remaining after Pell Grant or other grants/scholarships have paid)

NOTE: Preference will be given to minority students.
