Karen Witt Women's Completion Fund

Established in December 2019 by Karen Witt to advance education by providing scholarship assistance to single women who attend or are planning to attend Sinclair Community College. This is designed to aid those who are working to secure meaningful careers and/or break the cycle of poverty. The primary purpose of this Fund is to provide funding for outside of the classroom needs that limit a student’s ability to complete their degree. This can be, but is not limited to: emergency funding grants, financial counseling programming, child care, equipment necessary to finish a program, etc.

Preference will be awarded in the order of:

• Single mothers
• Students within one semester of graduation
• Students from a low-income background

“This award is an emergency grant for non-tuition expenses. If you are selected for an award, you will receive an email requesting a thank-you note. Once that note is provided online, funds will be issued out within 3 weeks.”
