Jack Moody and John Gibbs Memorial Scholarship (for members of AAMI program)

Established in October 1996 by Dr. Martha Moody, to honor the memory her father, Jack Moody and her uncle, John Gibbs, and their appreciation for God’s love, the work of social justice, and to assist participants of the African American Male Initiative (AAMI) program while pursuing a degree.

Criteria:

  • Minimum 2.25 GPA
  • Enrolled full-time
  • Completed 9 semester hours of college-level coursework
  • Participant in the African American Male Initiative program
  • Incoming, first-time students are eligible to apply for the scholarship provided they enroll in the AAMI program

NOTE: This scholarship pays only towards tuition, fee, or required book charges (from the Sinclair Bookstore) that remain AFTER Pell Grant/other scholarships have been fully applied.
